With experience and flair – here wine culture has a home – already for many generations
The Steichele offers you the possibility to taste, drink and purchase chosen wines from Franconia, the Pfalz and South Tyrol and from further German wine growing regions.
Drinking wine has the highest priority here and is fostered with loving care. The business connections in the respective wine regions and with the individual vintners and wine estates have existed for generations. In this way, the Steichele exclusively owned earlier the regional pub and sale of wines from Baden and South Tyrol in Nuremberg. Today, you can still purchase chosen locations, sites from the Palatinate. The family Steichele owns in the Palatinate its own sites which have been enlarged for decades due to the local teaching and research academy there and which regularly win prizes in the professional association.

Cosy, companionable and popular for generations – our wine bar. Eighth by eighth you can try our comprehensive wine list before you make a specific choice in your wine purchase.
The wine list is not only divided into sections in open and bottled wines by other restaurants, but in addition also according to the "weighting" or "order in terms of taste” (from light to heavy, from crisp to powerful) and not according to their growing area.

With our big selection we will demonstrate to you the diversity of the wines and their small nuances. Whether you come in a relaxed way as a couple or with friends: in our previous air-raid shelter – the wine bunker – the ideal cooling- and storage conditions are prevalent for our rarities and it is the perfect location for your individual wine tastings.
